HandiPak Case
HandiPak Belt Clip Case

What are you packing in that fine looking holster son?
For lack of a better term, I think of belt clip style cases as holsters, but they are actually belt clip cases.  The HandiPak Deluxe leather belt clip case by PDALife is absolutely beautiful.  PDALife appears to have a winner on their hands here, and quite frankly I'm not surprised.  All of their products are of superb quality and at great prices.
One of the first things you notice when you look at the HandiPak case is that it holds your Palm(or other PDA with similar form factor) in a horizontal rather than vertical position.  The second thing you notice is the richness of the leather and the absolutely excellent quality in the craftsmanship.  Unfortunately, then you notice the Velcro tabs.  Now Velcro is not my first choice and I found that the cover flap didn't close very well at first, but after a few days of use, the leather began to 'wear' in the right places and the flap now closes just fine.  Velcro will always have it's downside, and I like the magnetic snaps, but it does work here.

You'll do flips for these clips!
Even the embossed PDALife logo is cool!
Flipping over the case, you see to leather covered belt clips mounted side by side.  I have worn belt clip tools and radios for some time, and my experience has been that they are convenient but that they break.  I've never had them just pop off, although I suppose this could happen and it is a common fear.  These clips felt good and hold the case at a comfortable, out of the way position on your belt.  I suppose if one broke the other one would hold long enough to keep  you from dropping the whole case.

Both failing at the same time seems rare, and I'm guessing they won't fail at all if they are used properly.
Looking at the side view, you can see the bellows that adjust to accommodate various sized PDA's.  The Handipak case feels really good on your hip and even wears well while sitting in a car.  I definitely recommend this case if you like belt cases!

It looks great with a slacks or jeans, and I've even worn it with nice shorts without being called a geek!

One additional thing to note; the case provides limited protection in the even off a drop and is no more protective than any other piece of leather.  I feel it is protective enough for most instances but consider your environment when purchasing ANY case.  One nice touch that you will find on the inside of the case is an antistatic lining that wears well.

**NOTE**
Tim Warner over at PDALife tells me that magnetic clips are on the way and he should be getting them any time, so look for them at the site!

The HandiPak case is available at PDALife for $39.99 plus shipping.  It comes in mocha(seen here), black and natural.

What I like:
Beautiful top grade leather
Compact and attractive
Fits a variety of PDA's

What I don't like:
Velcro
Cover flap needs to be just a tiny bit long to accommodate thicker PDA's
