PDA Palmtop Case by incase
This is a beautiful case and it was well worth the wait. It took me a while to get a hold of one of the Palmtop cases by incase, but once I did, I fell in love with it.

The exterior of the Palmtop case is made of durable and spill resistant neoprene. Spending a lot of time in wetsuits, as I do, I can tell you that this neoprene is quality stuff, wears well, and is long lasting, and it just looks cool. The neoprene also provides a nice cushion for those accidental drops. The zipper is sturdy and designed to last, and the tab on the zipper is long enough to get a good grip on when you need to zip or unzip the case. The cool incase logo is sewn onto the bottom but other than that, the case is nice and plain (which I happen to like). One thing you won't find is a belt loop, buckle, snap or clip. There is no way to attach it to your person. This case is purely a purse, briefcase or pocket case. |
Unzipping the case, you have room for an extra stylus as well as some business cards, credit cards or cash. There is certainly enough room to use this as a wallet and to carry just about everything you might need, but you'll probably be better served using it as a business card holder only. Hold onto that wallet for now. The Palm is firmly mounted via velcro (this seems to be the preferred means of attachment for some reason. I'd much rather see elastic bands or a hard plastic clip similar to some Visor attachments I have seen).
The Palm attaches snugly and is a perfect fit in the case. When you pull the zipper around it, the Palm is held tightly. A firm insert on the top half of the shell provides some protection to the screen.
One thing I did find slightly awkward was the cover flapping around when trying to write something down, however I'm a lefty, so everything is awkward for me. |

I should also note that the incase case is an award winning product at Innovations '99 (as stated on the display that the case came in.
The incase is available at PalmGear for $24.95. PalmGear lists available colors of red, blue and black, but check the incase site for updates.
